A: Our philosophy is unique because all our food is totally fresh and prepared with our own gourmet recipes. Our mission is to sell the best food available anywhere, providing excellent quality and generous portions at an exceptional value. We purchase the highest quality ingredients available and do not cut corners in the caliber of freshness of food we serve. We pledge to our customers a constant commitment to quality without compromise.
Barberitos has a continuing commitment to excellence in our franchise program as well. We look at franchising as a partnership. By combining our proven concept, experience and successful system of operations with the managerial and financial resources of Barberitos Franchise Owners, we pledge to do our utmost to ensure that each individual franchise achieves the greatest possible degree of success.
Barberitos’ objectives include the following:
A: The initial term of the Franchise is ten years, with two five-year renewal options.
A: Our pre-opening training program is quite extensive and covers everything you need to know in order to fully operate your Barberitos Southwestern Grille & Cantina restaurant successfully. Phase 1 lasts for 23 days and takes place at the Barberitos Home Office as well as in a working location. You will gain valuable, hands-on experience as well as an overview of all areas of managing a successful Barberitos restaurant. For the second phase of your training, one or more representatives from Barberitos will come to your location to assist in the training your staff, final location set-up and your first week of operations.
A: Once you have secured your site and signed your lease, you can be open for business in as few as 90 days. This shorter pre-opening period allows you to begin generating revenues far more quickly than with many other restaurant franchises.
A: Yes, Barberitos Southwestern Grille & Cantina Franchise Owners are required to pay a weekly service fee of five percent of your gross net revenues. These service fees help defray the costs of our on-going support programs, including continuing training, visits by field support staff, strategic planning meetings, menu development and continual updating and refinement of our systems.
A: The franchise fee is $20,000.
A: All Barberitos Franchise Owners are required to spend two percent of their monthly gross net revenues in advertising for their own locations. Should there be other Barberitos franchises in your market, all local Franchise Owners are required to form an Advertising Cooperative. Such Cooperatives allow all Franchise Owners in a given market to pool their funds to market more effectively. The Franchise Owners determine the rules of the Cooperative, and contributions to it are considered part of the two percent local advertising requirement mentioned above.
A: We cater to a crowd of people, from the healthiest eaters to people who do not care about nutrition. Young and old, lower income to upper income, everyone can enjoy Barberitos Southwestern Grille & Cantina products because they are fresh, fast, healthy and inexpensive. We appeal to people who are tired of fast food but still want fast service. Because of our welcoming atmosphere, we also attract people who want to relax and stay a while.
A: First, complete the preliminary application and submit it to the Barberitos Corporate Office via web or mail. After reviewing your information, we will contact you by telephone to discuss this opportunity in detail and answer any questions you may have. Assuming we are both interested in pursuing a franchise relationship, we will then set up a mutually convenient time to meet personally.
